★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Service is fantastic here! I think that every dining experience should start with a great conversation between diners and the server. It is an opportunity to learn about what the restaurant specializes in and get a vibe of the place. With the warm welcome of the servers, we had high expectations and were not let down.
I ordered the following and I suggest that you do the same.
*Fish Soup of the Day* - fantastically seasoned. It was a fish/tomato broth which is is common to the region. It had salmon pieces as well as lentils. It was a great way to start the meal.
Roasted Pork Tenderloin - was cooked really well. From my experience, pork tenderloin tends to be overcooked. They got it just right at Lanidor and it was served with a cream sauce and fries.
Squid Kebab with Prawns - Best menu item that we ordered. The squid tasted fresh with the most amazing texture. But best of all, I do not know what they put in their shrimp but they were succulent. You can taste the cook of the grill on the shrimp and it was addicting.
Overall, this place has fantastic food and service. If I am ever around Faro, this will surely be a place to visit.
