★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well situated place, close to the Jeronimos abbey, with a terrace outside where you can enjoy a drink or a snack. Sound perfect? It would be if not for plain rude service - the waiter of Asian origin behaves impolitely, showing disrespect if you want to stay only for drinks. I don't recommend coming to Wineguest - I didn't feel welcome.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unfortunately we couldn't taste anything, we waited 20 minutes outside and called several times to the number on their Facebook page, finally someone answered, it was a private house with no relation whatsoever with Wineguest.
Very disappointed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love the place. Ideal for wine and coffee in the afternoon. If you come early you can order a Pasteis de Belém with coffee.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Looks like all the bad reviews are outdated - liked the look as we walked up to the Jardim gardens and visited on our way back down. Beer and white sangria with some snacks - can't complain! Didn't try a lunch or dinner option

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ TERRIBLE PLACE AND TERRIBLE STAFF!
We ordered two sandwiches and 1 chorizo and the same waiter took the order has brought a extra food (chips, bread and olives) I eat the bread because I thought it comes with chorizo and I didn't touch the extra food of our order... when I ask the bill on the there was an extra charge of 6.20€. I tell to the waiter why this extra monay on my bill... He told me that I have to pay the olives, bread and chips because we eat them (NO TRUE). I also tell him why did you bring extra food when I didn't ask. The answer was: Because we use bring olives, bread and chips even if you do not order it and the costumes have to pay them. WHAT??? I told to take off the food not ordered from me, after a long complaint (because He wanted be paid everything) he took off the olives, bread and chips and when he brought the bill told us that we are a Shame people.
To the kind of "waiter" (half Asian I guess) I suggest to change position and starting to clean the toilet.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Incredibly rude waiter and deceitful business practices.
We were "greeted" by the rudest waiter you'd ever find who was annoyed because we were ordering starters and drinks during lunchtime (it was 4pm). He similarly rudely told numerous other couples to go away despite empty tables because they had dared to sit down.
My wife ordered a glass of sauvignon blanc but he corrected her and said chardonnay which we accepted but at the end he then charged us eur7 instead of the eur4 that the sauv blanc would have been.
We were waiting over 30 minutes to be served 2 drinks and some light nibbles, made feel completely unwelcome and paid eur27 at the end. Avoid

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had coffe and pastel (2€) and a beer.
The food looked good, but we were not hungry.
The prices are actually good, and the terasse to sit was perfect. We had shadow and a nice view.
Some ratings here are old, our services was ok.
We can recommend it totaly, especially the fair prices!
Sorry for the half eaten pastel, but it was very good ?
