We have stopped to eat on the way, the food was good and the attention too, the prices are expensive if we compare them with what we have paid during our stay in Portugal, it may be that they have charged us for being tourists since there was no price list. ..

Boa comida caseira. Doses bem servidas. Canja de fraca. Bacalhau à casa. Lagartos grelhados. Costeletas de borrego grelhadas. Pudim de noz. Pedir Pão de castanha!
Good home cooking. Servings well served. Weak soup. Cod at home. Grilled lizards. Grilled lamb chops. Nut pudding. Ask for Chestnut Bread!

We stopped to eat because of the photos of the dishes. Good treatment of the staff. We ate Iberian lizard, very good indeed, €13 expensive for Portugal. Frozen fries. The cheese is quite good as well as the chestnut bread. I would not go out of my way to eat here again the prices are more expensive than the average in Portugal.

We had a fantastic lunch at the outdoor table (esplanada), perfect during the pandemic! The wild boar stew was superb the bread amazing! Really friendly and helpful staff!

High quality traditional food. Sweet and welcoming staff. One of the best restaurants we visited during our one month stay in the region. A tip: ask for the leitaō!
