It was a good choice. Reception was very nice, she speaks very good English too. Food in the restaurant was actually one of the better meals out that we have had here in Portugal. Our waiter Fernando was amazing. Very tentative and professional. I went down there with shorts but felt like I should have worn a nice suit lol.
Price was right. Off peak we stayed here for around 70 euros. Well worth it for the room which was immaculate.
About a 5 to 10 minute walk off the beaten path

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ very tidy hotel, rooms adequately sized. Parking in the hotel's car park in front or in the garage below. Breakfast is European style, don't expect much. Coffee is quite bad though, from some machine in the corner. Most staff speak English but night manager doesn't. It's very close to the action, just a short walk to pedestrianized shopping and restaurants as well as the main square and cathedral.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Parking in front of the hotel. The friendly and attentive staff speaking fluent english. Room comfortable, modern with a very comfortable and big bed, very elegant and clean. In the room you can find tea making facilities. A well-functioning Internet. In the bathroom is everything you need. Breakfast very tasty, lots of choice. We are very pleased with this hotel. Value for money is excellent. Very close to the temple.

A great feature is the parking space just outside the door, that is if you are coming during a low season period. It is very quiet too!
The staff looked professional and efficient. That's always the best!!!
