Othdr than the plastic fish served to us, the angered chef came out of his kitchen insulting my knowledge in fish by claiming his dish is the best in all of portugal and that i should continue to eat instead of criticizing. Who knew a self proclaimed chef in portimao could be this overconfident. An absolute no go to place unless you want to be haraased by the maitre D and be fed plastic waste for what i can humbly say is an overpriced menu.
R	Rui Marrico on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a great restaurant with a family feel. Also the owner was very polite and pay attention to the customers. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who have a chance to go. The food is very tasty and well prepared.

It wasn't obvious if there were a line, so we stepped inside, but a lady immediately told us to wait outside, so we did. After 10 minutes she asked what we want, but then she said if we want to have dinner, we have to go inside and talk with another waiter. Said waiter immediately told us to go outside and wait there. When told him that the lady just sent us in to talk with him he started to make faces, talked something with her, then waved towards a table with an irritated expression on his face, told us to sit there, like he is doing a huge favor then left. That was the point when we decided that if we are not welcomed here, we can choose another place. So we did and had a really good dinner at Taberna da Mare
D	Duarte Farrajota Ramos on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Codfish is the main attraction here, it is a staple of Portuguese cuisine, it is commonly said there are literally thousands of different ways to prepare it, and here you will find the most common recipes along with a few more exotic local specialties. All tasty and well presented with a nice atmosphere, although this place is often crowded and may be hard to get a table for dinner, especially around the summer months.
U	Urszula Kmiec on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Place recommended to English people a lot as the main ingredient of the manufacturer is cod. Actually, it's the only ingredient in the menu. Salty and dry . Big portions will make it up for you. Good selection of wine. Friendly staff. Shame about cod.
