The site has beautiful views, with a super small cove that disappears when the tide rises, it is on the way to the breakwater which gives it a charm of a fishing bar of yesteryear. The man who takes it is seen with little patience and has no more staff, so the treatment degrades as time passes Good quality, little variety in the menu and normal price, do not wait after a good account that I give you a detail, it charges you and not at a very good price. I don't think we will return, Portugal has a lot to discover.

It is a very simple and picturesque restaurant, with traditional food, totally typical of Portugal and especially of the coastal area ... fish and seafood; The rice dishes are tasty, salads and I don't tell you how delicious they are, local products and very good quality. Good atmosphere, basic and simple decoration, typical of the beach restaurant before, run by a man who imagined that as a young man he would be a fisherman ... Antonio is a very simple man, he is the one who receives you, he attended us with kindness and education , his wife, a woman just as old as him, is the one who runs the kitchen, she is the one who does magic with the tasty dishes she prepares. The restaurant has two environments, the great and simple terrace, which has extraordinary views towards the mouth of the river towards the sea, perfect location, its simplicity makes this restaurant a unique and relaxing place apart from unforgettable. Everything flowed perfectly ... to the coffee to finish the wonderful evening with friends. At this time it is a wonderful opportunity to visit it, there are not many people and what there is is not disturbing as it could be in the middle of August vacations. The prices are according to their style and quality / price ratio. Good portions / quantities! Rice with seafood for two yielded for four! I recommend it.

Trato agradable y precios razonables.
Quaint restaurant on the banks of the mouth of the Guadiana, (difficult to find if you are not accompanied by someone who frequent the site) time has stopped there, the place, the tables, the place, the owner, ... Spectacular views, tranquility envelops the environment. Typical Portuguese food and exquisite flavors, rice, seafood, meats and an excellent homemade almond cake that accompanied the coffee. Nice treatment and reasonable prices.

The first thing that anyone who goes has to bear in mind is that it is a restaurant run by an elderly couple Antonio and Fátima, two endearing people. The main thing for them is to attend well, they prefer not to have the place full of people and that the few tables that can attend, attend them well. It is a very picturesque place with spectacular views. The food is delicious, the only downside I can say is that the french fries are not natural. The wild sea bass and the chicken both cooked on charcoal, spectacular. The desserts are homemade, I recommend the sky bacon. They have coffee. Be careful with what for us is a final shot type detail, because they charge it and well charged. In general it is well priced. You pay in cash, they do not accept a card. I recommend it, but please come at good Portuguese time and be a little empathetic. Places like this, we have to take care of them and make them last.

The site is ideal. It eats wonderfully. You have to know where you are going. It is a restaurant run by two very old people. Fátima cooks like angels and Antonio has dedicated himself to serving all his life, but if they see it full, they either have patience or better not go in. They reserve if you order any of their rice dishes. The fish and the Dorado Cod are top.

This is one of those places you either love or hate....The restaurant has a great view on the Guadiana and the sea. It is ran by an elderly couple (probably reaching or even over their eighties), which seems why some reviews are very negative. Service can be slow, so don’t go here if you don’t have the time to relax and enjoy the setting. The decor is typical no nonsense functional Portugees. The food we had was delicious, charcoal grilled chicken with homemade piri-pir sauce and salmon with squeezed and fried garlic and oregano. And to finish it off (not that it wasn’t enough) a homemade cream pie. And a final remark regarding COVID-19, the couple doesn’t wear a mask so if this is an issue for you skip this place for now....else enjoy!

True old Portuguese. Run by a very old couple, home food. The rice was amazing, also the Bacalao Dorao.
