★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time here. Evening visit and there was the only the two of us in, and we were made welcome. Some places would be trying to close with so few customers but the staff were very good. Had an excellent meal at a reasonable price. Will definitely return.

I have never been disappointed.
Brilliant seafood and cataplana
Excellent beef and pork or even a turkey steak.
Descent traditional desserts
Good selections of drinks (no cocktails)
Very clean.
Walk off the calories along the Portugal Spain border down the river

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We waited over 20 minutes for someone to speak to us or serve us even drinks on the terrace, the restaurant had a chain across the door stopping people entering, but they opened it to let a family enter, but did not speak to us, there were a few people eating inside, if they didn't want us, 2 adults, there they could have told us. We left in disgust.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place was not bad and not even the food itself so terrible. But if someone considers everything at 10 meters from the ocean, well...it gets worse. We ordered a salad named “sea delight”, but the fish was surimi and the tomatoes were green inside. The rest was just simply under the average of the restaurants of the area, service included.
