Be Lisbon Hostel Intendente

I had a great stay that exceeded my expectations of a hostel. First of all, this hostel is recently opened and the building is newly renovated, conveniently located in the city center near the metro station. Also, it includes free breakfast which is more than enough to start one’s day: different breads, cheese, ham, marmalade, cereal, milk, juice, and granola with various options of coffee (espresso, café con leche, late, black coffee, etc.). Breakfast is 7 to 10 AM. However, one day I overslept and showed up 11 AM but coordinator lady didn’t want me to leave without breakfast and helped me to get a sandwich with coffee. Such a nice gesture! Rooms are clean and well-organized. Especially, I liked spacey cabinets locked with one’s room card. Bunk beds are comfortable that feature bright light, 2 USB ports, and a privacy curtain. Some of the rooms tend to be smaller but after I changed my room once I got a bigger one with enough space to put everyone’s stuff. Bathrooms which are separate for males and females are brand new. Even though the bathrooms are maintained well and are kept clean, at times it gets dirty but I feel it more depends on travelers who stay there personal hygiene and culture levels. The staff is awesome. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Especially I wanted to recognize Mariana at the front desk who went above and beyond in helping me to check-in, answered all my questions, and made some great suggestions for the sightseeings around Lisbon! I shall definitely stay here again and I recommend it to others! ☺️

Me and my friends had an excellent stay at Be Lisbon Hostel. The staff was so pleasant and always ready to help. The rooms were very nice and clean and had A/C. The bathrooms were always very clean as well. I will definetely come back and I recommend this Hostel to everyone that is planning to stay in Lisbon.

Unfortunately we didn't have the opportunity to stay here longer. The hostel is nice and clean, very close to two hot spots in Lisbon (Ramiro and Casa Independente), lots of floors with both rooms and dormitories. Some flaws are the extremely small size of rooms and the toilets/showers without windows which turn fairly fast into a sauna. Very good prices but we were there in COVID times, so that might have been a factor.

Very central, very clean, amazing nice staff, nice view from our room. We are staying just one night, be we will definitely come back for a longer stay!

Place Is good and clean. People are nice. But we had the double room face to the bathroom. I think that walls are made in carton. We could hear people peeing and singing during the night, what a romantic moment ! Plus, light from the street was just in front of the room's Window so it was not ideal to sleep as the light was passing through the shutter.
