★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic little local - cosy and traditional dining room with excellent food. We had a variety of dishes of grilled things - chicken, pork chop, octopus and mackerel. All delicious and served with moreish buttery potatoes and vegetables, and local wine. Yum! (Note - there are also two good highchairs for small kids.)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent restaurant for meat! The owners of this restaurant own the Butcher's next door. You only have to ask the kind of meat you want to get. The problem is that you have to ask in Portuguese for the kind of meat you want and also ask how you want it cooked and choose the side dishes.

We were on our way to a place nearby with excellent rating, but was closed, with no information why, so we looked around for another place and this one was right on the corner.
I was starving that day, so when they told me that they have Portuguese “cozido” I didn’t think twice and had that for lunch.
My boyfriend had the grilled chicken and it was perfect.
For dessert I had the pudim that was really fresh, I love fresh pudding and he had the house dessert.
It is a place to come eat typical Portuguese food and they also have a very big menu, a couple I have fried cod fish (Bacalhau à Braga) and he had meat grilled on the stone it looked great.
