★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice camping, clean bathrooms with warm water and nice staff. We were welcomed by a friendly man at the entrance after working hours. He gave perfect instructions and made us feel welcome. Worth its price!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly reception. You can get to the very beautiful beach in about 20 minutes on foot.Highly recommended walk on wooden gangways over the salt marshes to the sea and its sandy beach.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you travel with a tent, this site is not nice. There's only a little patch down at the far end of the campsite, it's muddy when you have rainy weather and all the water is flowing down to the tent area.
I was there at Nov 24th, 2021 to have a look around but decided to go to somewhere else, because the so called tent area is a mudpit.
This is not a campsite but a trailer- and motorhome park. Camping is the people with tents. And those are, as so often in Portugal, not in the interest of campsite operators.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place and friendly staff, finding a suitable pitch is akward but once set up it's fine. Bar near reception very good and reasonable for drinks and food. Walk down to the beach around 15 minutes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were a little apprehensive coming here after reading about the Covid outbreak of November 2020 in which one person died and a number of the large population of permanent residents were moved to a hotel to isolate after testing positive. We only stayed one night, but it seemed OK as there were very few tourists, and the permanent residents kept to themselves spending all their time in the bar which we obviously avoided. The site is in a good location but very expensive considering how run down it is.

We went there to check prices for staying without camper or tent. We had to pay 675 euros for a month for a mobilehome!!! And that's in the wintertime! With everything shut down, no pool. Who on earth would want to pay that much to live in a cold trailer in March? Especially when you can stay at a nice, luxury hotel for less?
In general we find also private accommodation prices far too high in Portugal. But this camping site is the worst case, we have encountered.
They have completely lost touch with reality here in Portugal regarding pricing for accommodation. Next year we will find a better place to stay in the winter.
