Campingcar Figueira ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We arrived here to stay 2 nights and ended up staying over 2 months. It is a cosy and small campsite but by far the best we ever had in the Algarve. That is probably why we couldn't leave and simply because the people there are amazing. Infrastructure ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The places to park are all leveled and have electricity, water and the option to duspose your grey water on the spot. So no need to move if you'd like to stay some longer. On top of that is the entire park covered in gravel. So even if it rains everything stays nice and clean. No mud, no water no hustle. There also is a place for the chemical toilet, nice and clean bathrooms with hot water and a playground for the kids. * plus CampingCar Figueira is super dog friendly Service ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The service on the camping ground is absolutely fantastic. There is the option to buy bread, wine, honey, medrohno (a local and fairly strong drink), oranges and fresh fish delivery. Since the restaurants nearby all closed there also is the option to get lunch. 5€ for a local dish and you get plenty! If you need anything else the campground owner is always there to help. Not ever was something to much. He has an unbelievable drive and will help with every problem big or small. If you want to order some food on a lazy night comidas.pt is the website to go to. Plenty of options. Accessibility ⭐⭐⭐ Not the easiest place to get to but once you know it's easy! You have to drive through the little town and follow the signs. After a while the paved road stops and it becomes a gravel road (very wide and well maintained) don't let it fool you, you're almost there. Drive a 100m on the gravelriad and you will see the gate on the right side. Things nearby ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 1. If you are on the camp site there are lots of things to do (unless when the whole country is in lockdown). For the basic needs there are two little Mercado's on 400m where you can find basicly everything. A but further you have a bakery, some restaurants, a vet, a florist... 2. If you take the car you can go to portimao for shopping. There's a big mall and a million options for groceries, fashion and food. 3. Alcalar has a museum close by (4km) with prehistoric buildings and some history and its very nice to visit. 4. Alvor (10min drive) has 1001 restaurants, scenic walks in the delta and a stunning beach with cliffs. The city center is really nice and feels very authentic! 5. Monchique is only 23km away and definitely woth a visit too. 6. Baragem do bravura is a dam with a lake and a eucalyptus forest. Very quiet and beautiful scenery and great for dogs. 7. If you like hiking you can start on the campground and go discover. There is a lot of nature around and great hikes. Price ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 13€ per night 10€ per night if you stay more than 30 days. That is a golden service almost for free. We really had a wonderful stay on this campground. The atmosphere is unique and positive. The people are friendly and in the weekends there might just be an activity for everybody. I would recommend this place for everybody. Great place to travel through or to stay for a long time.

This place is the best we have been on so far! Clean, friendly, even with free showers. (They were build this year, so in older post here they had not yet been put up). Dogs might be barking at night and the rooster wakes you up early, if you have a light sleep. But hey that is because the place is near to the country side. There you can get running and relaxing. At night we use oropaks. The whole atmosphere is friendly and almost every camping car stays longer than the people were planing to. So best recommendation to The van and camping car community

Wonderful site which was reasonably priced with all the services you need. Very convenient as not far from the N125 and Alfor or Portimao. The owners are very friendly and helpful and you can phone ahead to reserve a pitch for the night which was useful when we were there in August. We stopped there on two occasions and will definitely stay again when we return to the Algarve

Nice little site that is immaculately kept. Good value and good showers and toilets

Beautiful family run camping in the middle of farms but still close enough to Portimao and Lagos. Roosters in the neighborhood but that's just part of the atmosphere. Don't expect warm water during the most competitive hours. Recommend 100%

Cute little camp site thats fairly cheap: 13 euros for 3 people with a van and electricity. Removing one star since there were only 2 bathrooms, so if someone was in the shower people couldn’t go to the toilet.

Lovely spot. Lots of thought gone into designing & building this place. Quiet camping and possibly best shower facilities we found in Portugal... Toilet seats!

Lovely site run by nice people. Always making improvements and going out if their way for their customers. A little hard to navigate to using Google maps but follow the blue signs instead and you won't go wrong. Fully serviced pitches. Probably not suitable for vans over 9m.
