★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the best car rental experience I have had! Staff were friendly, process was excellent and the only issue that I had was related to booking through Rentalcars.com which was quickly explained and resolved. I will book directly through Centauro next time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time with Centauro and it could have been better.
The car was quite damaged and lacking of many little parts such as tire caps and rear windscreen wiper plastic cover. Interiors were clean.
After 2 days of driving the car was missing of Adblue, certainly one of the things you don't want to think about when renting a car for a few days.
Their fuel policy is quite tricky: if you purchase a full-empty rate they charge you an entire tank and then refund the corresponding amount at the end of the rental.
Also Via Verde policy is quite ambiguous, since they require a deposit of 100€ at the pick up and then refund it after 2 weeks...but they regularly charge highway tolls in the final invoice when you return the car.
I have rented with several companies during the years and Centauro was the worst experience so far.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The cars are in bad shape, inside and outside, ours had several accidents not fixed and the vibration while driving was too much. Our friends car had some rotten smell inside that they had to leave the windows open while driving and park. Avoid this place. Bad service. We paid extra for the car, it wasn’t the cheapest model.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I rent regularly at Porto airport, and have used all of the major agencies. Centauro (at least for the last year or so) have been the best - very fast pick up, friendly staff, cars in good condition. I hope the service stays at this level :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have rented a car for two days in September '21 under Plan Premium option. Check-in was smooth, the car was almost brand new, and the price was reasonable. I have also used the Via Verde electronic toll payment systems which worked perfectly.
At the pick up of the car, Centauro charges 100 EUR for fuel deposit and another 100 EUR for toll payments. The deposit (minus the toll costs) was refunded to my bank account in two parts, with the second transaction visible on my bank account about 8 days after the drop off of the vehicle.
The only inconvenience was that the car was delivered without the windshield washer fluid. Otherwise, the experience was great, and I would definitely recommend the company!

However I rent a car on line and my flight didn’t arrive in till next day, since my booking was the day before I had to do another contract, not only it was more expensive but I was told to call a number that was given to me. I have not being able to get trough anybody or get my $ 520.14 credited to my credit card. I thought perhaps these way I will get your attention

The car is provided clean abs in good condition.

Make my holiday much nicer
Sometimes the shuttle bus takes a bit longer and sometimes is not possible to stop on the same place
But apart from that the shuttle is very quick and efficient
