L	Luca G on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awful experience. The waiter wasn’t able to take our orders properly (wasn’t able to communicate although we spoke English and pointed the dishes on the menu). When I’ve asked for my order to be replaced with the correct one the waiter accused me of lying about the error and the manager said that he couldn’t do anything about it. All in a very rude way. He tried to offer us some Porto to recover (we refused) and gave us a discount. Their behaviour ruined our entire evening. Please avoid.
C	Cristi Rosu on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It seems like these places forgot how to offer good services during the pandemic. We ordered a starter, carbonara and chicken grill. All three, without exception, were underwhelming to say the least. Carbonara didn’t even smell like carbonara. Staff can’t even communicate well. I would not recommend this place, it’s a tourist trap.

It would have been a 4-star review if the owner didn't decide to sell us a velhotes bottle for 25eur. We would have been okay with a 25-35% increase in price, buying from a restaurant. But the bottle costs 8.99eur online! As tourists I generally like to take a chance with local businesses, but Concept 31 was certainly a disappointment in Porto for me.

D	David Gavilan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The cod fish cakes were very good. Note that there’s something in the menu called “rissóis” and it’s translated as croquettes in English, but it’s a different thing. It’s a small patty enclosed in pastry or breadcrumbs and deep fried (check “rissoles” in Wikipedia). The pork medallions were also very tasty, although slightly salty. Order something cold. The sparkling water, by the way, it’s a natural sparkling water that tasted quite good. When we went the special dish of the day was black spaghetti (squid ink?) with tiger shrimps. Both the shrimps and the pasta were really good. The staff were friendly, but some dishes were a bit slow. We had to wait about 45 minutes for the mains. I think it may depend on what you order, because I saw other people getting server quicker. Cozzy & quiet ?
H	Hector A. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I disliked the experience. A young waiter with a bossy attitude that is not aware of the Covid rules. I would recommend to make him understand that he should make customers comfortable and well treated.
M	Miss Lemon on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Coming from North Europe we’re used to early dinners, and we wholeheartedly appreciated it that the staff just received us before 6pm - they themselves were eating by then. Food and service were both excellent, I got a bit cold and the staff immediately handed me a blanket; such attentiveness! I had a lovely birthday dinner too - the shrimp spaghetti was delicious! My partner had Franceshina and he also really liked the rich authentic flavors of local Porto cuisine. Some small suggestions would be: - to play traditional music to attract more customers - to have English translations for all items on the menu; some were missing - I almost missed the spaghetti by accident! Dining at Concept 31 definitely brought a lot of enjoyment during my birthday trip to Porto. Highly recommend!
