P	Pouria M on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This small car rental company's service made me think twice if I would trust not well-known companies again. When we arrived to Porto Airport there was no sign of Drive&Go in the terminal and no one had heard of this company. I was told someone would pick us up, although they had my flight number, no one showed up and I had call the office and they said I had to walk about 5-7 minutes to get to their office. Just remember that they don't accept Amex even for the deposit. So I was lucky that I had another credit card otherwise I would have left there empty handed. There were some other hidden charges which you need to see in the T&C's such as paying 25 Euros if you want to take the car to Spain and also toll device fee no matter if you have no intention to drive in the motorway. So at the end of the day it wasn't a cheaper option compare to the other companies. TAKE as many pictures as possible of the car. If you don't take full insurance with them (as they are not as pushy as the other companies) , you need to check the cars dents and scratches very closely. One little scratch could cost you a few hundred Euros. As the basic insurance does not cover tyres, screens and underneath the car. CHECK them too carefully. While I was there I saw a family arguing about little chip on the wind screen. Before I returned the car, I was a bit nervous as I read many bad reviews while I was trying to find their address. However when I returned the car, they checked it rapidly and terminated the contract.

At the start they will make a big show of checking the car and getting you to check with them, but given the various scratches, dents and marks on the car it will be hard to spot every single thing - there is always going to be an element of trust in the company hiring you the car. Lo and behold, when you return the car they will immediately locate some insignificant mark you hadn't noticed (and for which you are not responsible) and charge you an extortionate price for it, even though they clearly aren't going to repair it, since they haven't repaired the other visible damage from previous uses, so they obviously just pocket the money. If you have insurance, it will be with a third party, so you will have to pay and try to claim it back on your own time. You won't have a choice because they have put a €1500 block on your credit card. The whole episode has the air of a well rehearsed routine. They won't treat you with any consideration or sense of proportion. In our case the car was a grey Seat Ibiza and the mark they charged us for was a very tiny dent just above the petrol cap which was only visible from a certain angle, and even then just barely. I have no doubt that they knew this was there in advance. Keep an eye out for this if you do make the mistake of hiring from Drive & Go - but I really recommend you don't.

Even though the price is cheap they are scammers, because they try to force you to rent an electronic toll device and at the end let you pay for a damage (scratched tyre 153 €) that you didn't do. You can drive through Portugal without paying toll or using toll roads very easy with google. Its not mandatory to rent the toll device! If you rent a car here make a video of ALL OF THE CAR and photos off everything first. Then do photos of the damage. They scammed us and took 153€ for the scratched tyre.

C	Christine Elliott on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Do not touch this company with a barge pole,they run a very lucrative scam.very friendly on arrival a cursory inspection of the car pointing out the odd scratch etc.On returning the car,the guy went round the car with a fine tooth comb which we found very odd,then suddenly he pointed out a minuscule dent on the passenger door,you needed a magnifying glass to see it.He obviously knew it was there,a bill for £213. Luckily we had insurance and were able to claim.The staff were horrible and treated us very disrespectfuly.DONT go anywhere near them.you will just get ripped off.

Very Sad at the end of the wonderful holiday! €€€€ THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY €€€€ HOW? (1)They show you small scratches (you get the feeling of „all is right“) (2)They let you look by yourself (you get the feeling of „all is right“) (3)You bring the car back and they see dollars $ in their eyes. They search and search and search and search. They show you the smallest scratch and want 220€. The scratch wasn‘t defenetly not from us. And it was under the bumper. You can‘t see it. They tell you „Did, I drove the Car“? HOW TO SAVE FROM THIS BANDITOS? (1) Take another car rental company. (2) Make lots of pictures and Videos under the car. Mark it on the Paper! Under the car - you have to write it on the paper. (3) He is a magician. He shows scratches above. Be careful, then you have to look at the opposite. Look under the car! (4) clean the window before driving. Mark on all little things of the window. (5) Ask the guy, what kind of size of scratches he search when you bring the car back. Write this sentence together on the paper. He searches for scratches smaller then 2mm. (6) Note the Name of the guy. (7) Ask to see the paper of the car hire before. Look what they found before and already marked and did not repair. (9) Ask him: Why there is such a bad evaluation on google? I WONDER IF THEY HAVE CHILDS :-) AND WHAT THEY WILL BE WHEN THEY GROW UP. VERY SAD, TO HAVE SUCH DADDYS! Where do you make your next holiday guys? We will see us again! —> You love us! —> We love you twice! —> Karma will catch you!
P	Patricia Benedum on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don’t recommend this car rental at all! We’ve been charged 400€ for a bumper which has been there before. They do a fast car handover and seem very relaxed when doing the handover. Not at all when returning the car. Take a lot of pictures and document everything. It’s ridiculous. The people before us have been charged for a scratch as well..
