Es una columna con balcón y una linterna blanca.
Es el faro anterior del enhebrado Cantareira-Sobreiras a la entrada de Barra do Rio Douro .
Siglo XVIII , probable construcción del faro.
En 2007 , debido a la nueva configuración de la entrada a la barra de Duero , después de la construcción de los nuevos rompeolas Norte y Sur, ya que se hizo innecesario, se eliminó.
En 2009 fue desactivado.
The Farolim da Cantareira, is a Portuguese lighthouse located in Cantareira, Cais do Marégrafo, in the parish of Foz do Douro, city of Porto.
It is a column with a balcony and a white lantern.
It is the previous lighthouse of the Cantareira-Sobreiras threading at the entrance to Barra do Rio Douro.
18th century, probable construction of the lighthouse.
In 2007, due to the new configuration of the entrance to the Duero bar, after the construction of the new North and South breakwaters, as it became unnecessary, it was removed.
