★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not much there, but nice views from the two top areas, accessed by stairs at main entrance, plus it is located very close to the main beach, the marina, plus all bars and restaurants in Praia da Rocha.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were on a short Portimão-Praia da Rocha Trip. We went to the beach and afterwards we went up the stairs leading to this castle. It's a nice viewing point, from which you can see most of the Praia da Rocha and a bit more. I recommend it!

I am used to come here, and use this place
as a "point of view"
early morning and evening
for taking pictures of sunrise ans sunset.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the most iconic places in Portimão since it's been there since the 17th century. Amazing view over praia da Rocha and Marina. Even during the winter is lovely.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really nice view! It's free and really worth a visit for a quick stop. You can see two beaches and a far landscape. Around you have good restaurants. And a good advice is the the Spar market that is around there. And you can buy water and other things for a no tourist price.
