The purest disaster. Absolutely not to be recommended. Disorganized and not really friendly. Our food was served cold. Tables were far too narrow in the interior, Covid certificates not checked on Sunday. Amateurs!

Something fails.... what will it be.... Time of covid td is important, how about starting there.... A customer is not served by putting a paper towel on the table and the customer who spreads them on the surface, the same with plates, glasses, cutlery, etc... A little more attention to the food served, it should be fresh and not heated.... sorry...for me a ZERO rating. AND ALREADY NOW, CUSTOMERS WITH ALCOHOL AND MENTAL PROBLEMS ARE RECEIVED, and they still sell alcohol to these people..... they are failing with the law and thinking with the cash register... ZERO POINTS, ZERO STARS

An authentic horror movie. First, we called at lunchtime to reserve a table for four for dinnertime. We got there and not only didn't have a table reserved, but they made us wait. After much insistence on our part, they ended up putting a table outside, and we still had to put the dishes for each one of us. Second, for dinner there were only two options, the two being meat and there was no vegetarian option, although, in the telephone call, we specifically asked if there were fish and vegetarian dishes, when the answer was yes. Third, as one of the people was a vegetarian we asked if they could make an omelet and they said yes but they didn't have anything to put in the omelet, like mushrooms or any other vegetable. So they ended up making a simple omelet, or scrambled eggs whatever you want to call it. Fourth, the chicken was parched, completely burnt and dry. Fifth, when we went to pay, they didn't discriminate the prices of what we ate, as we wanted to divide it by everyone according to what each one ate. The lady at the counter refused and there she ended up writing the itemized price on paper by hand. Sixth, what was our surprise when they charged €6.5 for the omelet (or eggs) without any accompaniment! When asked about the high price for a few measly eggs, they replied grotesquely: "for next time, ask for prices before ordering" when they didn't even give us a menu with a price of nothing from the start... Seventh, the man who was grilling and serving was without a mask at all times and without the basic hygiene care that the current situation requires. Eighth, they charged us for three chickens, but they must have been a little deficient because the three chickens only had a total of 3 legs. Ninth, they didn't put us napkins and when we asked we heard a grunt from the clerk. Tenth and more serious: that "omelet" caused a digestive breakdown, forcing our colleague to go to the emergency room full of pain at 5:00 in the morning. Either the eggs were spoiled or the amount was exaggerated. Dangerous indeed. In conclusion, we ended up paying a smorgasbord for lousy food, no alternative options, and a surreal nightmare from start to finish. We'll never come back.

We went out to eat last night. The two of us sat on the narrow balcony behind the house with a view of the Douro Valley. The view is gorgeous. The food was very good and plenty. There was salad and olives in advance. Attractively priced. We were lovingly cared for by an elderly gentleman.

We had dinner 3 times at this restaurant during our stay in Douro. The food is excellent, the owners are very friendly and the price is very good. Fantastic views and a place to park the bike. I RECOMMEND

Unbelievable, they didn't give us a menu and even said that they had no program to bill the taxpayer, in other words, they didn't want to discriminate the order. We ordered veal for three people, a platter came, we didn't even know if it was a dose or more… plus water and a juice, we paid €25 without knowing the value of each thing! From the previous comments, we can see that it wasn't just today that I didn't have a program. They should have closed the doors by now, it may be that the asae will start paying visits!
