Well maintained hotel clouded by lack of attention to the customers journey. No record of our booking when we arrived, (an oversight from the central bookings team). Requests at point of check-in to contact the reception desk for room availability updates (which was understandably being cleaned when we arrived early). The check-in process would have been greatly improved by the hotel prioritising early arrivals and lessening volumes of inbound customers awaiting rooms, yet we were some of the last customers waiting in the lobby some four hours after arrival, (when a much appreciated upgraded room became available). Another significant benefit to the customer would be the hotel adopting the policy of telephoning the customer when a room is ready, rather than frustrate the customer with checking at reception on multiple occasions for room updates. Sadly the front of house team (evidently under pressure on arrivals day) applied incorrect details to our room card, which in turn caused more frustration as the restaurant team requested this card on a nightly basis to validate board status (something not mentioned at check-in). All small items at face value but they impacted on our overall perception and experience of what was otherwise a very good hotel.

Very good hotel. Only reason I gave a 4 stars it because the receptionist try to pass a smelly, no view, buzzing noise and flickering light room on us. I asked for a room change and she told me a lie that there was no room available..it was only until the lights wasn't working then she gave me another room. She was also not friendly. Checkin Nov 14. Another than that it's a good retirement hotel with perfect location.

Meh, unfortunately it mostly rained throughout our stay here, so we couldn’t enjoy most of the outdoor amenities. The breakfast was pretty good overall, but dinner/ buffet was alright - better to eat at another place in town if you can. The negative here is that I booked a sea view room, and they gave me a “garden” aka parking lot view room, and wouldn’t correct their error, despite me having the paperwork stating what I was owed. They argued that I had to take it up with my booking company - which I did - and they still wouldn’t correct their error. Crazy thing too, upon check out, they tried to charge me 55€ for the call I made to my booking company, even though it was a collect number!! Ridiculous! Reception in this regard was poor, but I found the rest staff to be welcoming and helpful. Like I said, the whole experience was meh overall. Just watch out.

Picked the hotel from TUI. Very happy with the choice. The room had a partial sea view. It was very pleasant had a comfortable bed. It was equipped with a fridge and mini safe. We were staying on half board. The food was good and always a good choice. Vegetarian foods available. Plenty of choice of meats and fish. Outside the gardens are well kept. A good sized pool. Cold water. Tennis courts, lawned areas and seated view points. 125 steps down to a beauty beach. Staff very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the Portuguese wines available. We stayed early in the season, March, so quiter than high season but there was plenty of places to sit, relax and soak up a few waves. It's a thumbs up from me.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated and the sea view, especially from the breakfast restaurant, is stunning. The breakfast buffet is rich with variety.

The best thing about this hotel is probably the easy access to the beach from the hotel and the amazing views of the cliffs from the hotel viewpoints. The staff were very helpful during the trip, not least when it came to dietary requirements. Breakfast and food was standard. There is a heated indoor swimming pool, something more hotels should have. Tucked away in a fairly quiet area, at least it was in the winter season.

We love this place. We are here to celebrate my big birthday and we will cherish the memories. The breakfast is absolutely delicious. The staff are all very kind and friendly, the hotel and amenities are perfect. I had two fabulous treatments in the Spa with the lovely Marlene. Thank you.
