★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Even if you're not into churches, chapels & such you should still consider the fee to get in (2€ for students I think). The view from the tower is amazing!
Church it self and Chapel are also very nice of that's what you're into.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was a great experience for 3.5EUR. We walked through the church, the museum, and watched planes come in from the tower. About 1 hour and we were in and out! The church was gorgeous - I couldn’t stop taking photos! Built in the 13th century, but rebuilt mostly in the 17th-18th century, still a timeless piece of history. The entrance does not look that impressive but the church is worth walking through and the lookout is the best part! Photos as of April 2018.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well worth the 3.50 admittance fee. Great views from the top of the cathedral and the interior is fantastic extremely ornate and decorative. Consist of a small museum and holds plenty of art work. Really worth visiting while in faro.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The beauty inside belies the fairly bland exterior. Some amazing murals and a grand organ. A small-ish museum and art gallery to look around and a very small bone chapel. Great views from the top of the bell tower. I'd like some more descriptions in English for tourists, but it is definitely worth the €3.50 entrance fee.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A tower with many bells is included in the 3.5 euro entry fee, splendid views over the bay and city of Faro. A climb up not for the unsteady, a rope to cling onto on the way down would help a lot it's steep with uneven centuries worn steps. Architecture is dull with some exotic relief from the carvings inside and a clerical exhibition of ruby and pearl studded mitres accompanied by gold lame jerkins worn by those oh so pious men of God we rarely respect anymore.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quite nice to visit. You have access to the cathedral, the upper level with a museum where you can see the cathedral from above, then a garden with a sun clock and 2 small chapels (including one with bones but not very well preserved) and the rooftop. The view from the rooftop are very nice, and you can see the bells.
