About Vila Adentro

Entre os anos 80 e 90, funcionou como Casa de Azulejos Constância, na qual se pintavam e cosiam os azulejos – dos quais muitos forram ainda as paredes do Vila Adentro. Após o término da Casa de Azulejos, em 1994, a nova lufada deu-se em 2002, quando se tentou transformar o espaço – projeto que acabou por sucumbir em 2005.

De fé entorpecida pelas gentes que aspiravam por rápidos negócios sem dar voz e valor à História do lugar, o proprietário da casa abrandou os alugueres nos 10 anos seguintes. Foi então que, em 2014, coube a Pedro Alves o estímulo de resolver a lacuna da falta de conhecimento da população local em relação ao valor histórico daquele Lugar que transformou em Restaurante, num esforço por conciliar a História, o Património e a Gastronomia – uma tríade que perdura, até hoje.

House brut fizzy was very good....adding this because we've had the occasional stinker. Moet, Veuve etc aren't always available and very expensive.

I don’t know why it was so challenging. We ordered duck, pork, and fish. Most of them are cooked very hard. The flavor of the duck is quite bizarre. The color and the flavor remind me of the cheapest candy in the supermarket……The only good thing is the potatoes ? I wouldn’t recommend you to waste 3 hours in your wonderful life on this restaurant unless you want to taste the bitter life…
J	John Salik on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We shared their cataplana, a local dish made with shellfish, cod, tomatoes, potatoes, all in one covered pot served on the table. It was excellent. The house wine was good. Their orange cake is very tasty and pleasant. I complimented their chef as Luis, who provided very cordial and attentive service gave us a tour of their beautiful restaurant. We ate outside because it was 63 in December and we enjoyed the sun. The combination of pleasant welcome, service and good food in a beautiful location made it a wonderful experience after visiting the beautiful Faro cathedral (a must). We will be back

My baked cod with sautéed spinach and garlic was both generous and delicious. Finish lunch with traditional lemon ? meringue pie with a homemade crust and a latte. You can go wrong here. Ask the owner to tell you the history displayed on the tiled walls
