Amazing place for relaxing!!! Rooms are beautifully decorated, the restaurant and bar are very convenient. The best thing about it is the outdoor pool with hydromassage!

The ideal hotel to balance quality and the rural life around. Placed in the edge of a village where mostly farmers live, this hotel offers luxury accommodation, a fenomenal spa, bar, recreational common areas and stupendous food. If your idea is to hike, do some wine tourism or just enjoy some spa lost somewhere in the interior of Portugal, this is the place to go. I stayed in this hotel for two nights and I was able to enjoy a lot of what it has to offer. The breakfast buffet offered a great variety of food, vegetarian friendly, and all the food was very fresh. The rooms were very clean when we arrived and the bathroom was spotless. Common areas offered range from a billiard table, gym equipment, kids area and a lounge with sofas and TV. Why 4 stars? At the end of the first night we set up the sign at the door of our room requesting it to be cleaned and for a fresh set of towels due to an accident. Instead of cleaning and providing new towels, the employees turned the signed around and left without cleaning. The second point is that the pool area (not the spa) needs a bit more care. As it is mostly composed of wood and glass, the wood looks worn-out and the glass dirty. Very dirty. The rest was perfectly fine and a special note of appreciation as the breakfast was served from 8am to 10am but as we had a train to catch, we had to check out at 6am and the lady at the reception made sure they prepared a more simple breakfast for our room at this early hour.

Nice hotel with very welcoming and helpful staff. 6 out of 5 for the people working there :) Interior of houses a bit plain and chip, could be better as exteriors are great. But overall our stay was good. Restaurant is nice also!

This place is not an ordinary luxury hotel, it's a sanctuary surrounded by a beautiful and serene countryside. My wife and I were greeted by very friendly and welcoming staff. Our room had plenty of space, modern furnishings, and very comfortable bed. The ultra modern and ultra clean bathroom was overshadowed only by the stunning views out of the balcony. Obrigado and parabéns for bringing back the old-world charm and hospitality to the hotel business.

Great architecture in a modern building. Great location. Good rooms. Very soft bed/small pilow. Small pool. Below par restaurant/slow service.

Modern and comfortable hotel with a nice breakfast and with probably the most warm outdoor pool in Portugal (except Azores). Can't understand why rooms are so poorly illuminated and window curtains so poor blocking morning sun. but it's became the norm of new hotels
