★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a lovely meal and a great bottle of Portuguese wine. The food was authentic and the steak delicious. We went to this place as a walk-in off the street and it became clear this was a Portuguese locals hotspot with lots of bookings coming in. We had to wait for about 30minutes which was fine, but the staff could have done a little more to welcome us and update on the situation. The service was great once seated!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The front guy snapped. Gave people that had no reservations (I listened to the story). When confronted in a peaceful tone he react with rudeness and wrost: xenophobia, saying "do you even understand portuguese?" Repeatedly. Shame.
I would avoid at all costs. Whatever they serve, run from people lika that. We should not deserve or tolerate this kind of treatment specially in the world we are living in right now.

Visited this Portuguese restaurant on our first night in Porto. Food & service excellent. Small place & I strongly suggest that you book a table beforehand. Tried the octupus & veal. Also their traditional chocolate mousse. Very reasonably priced including 2 glasses of wine. I recommend this place, very close to the train station.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great local restaurant. The service was excellent, and the food very tasty. Try the bacalhau or the polvo. Great wine selection, too! You will need a reservation for dinner but it’s easy to make one.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Living in Porto for about 35 years and yesterday I came here for my first time. What an amazing discover. Simply amazing. A short menu, which is a great sign, deliciously cooked. The cod is to cry for more. As for the staff, they were super friendly. Will definitely become a regular.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of my food highlights during my time in Porto. The staff is very friendly and professional. I had the cod with onion and potatoes and a very fresh fish.
If you are about to take a train in the São Bento station, a quick bite in here is highly recomended.
