★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Superb freshly cooked food, traditional Portuguese small restaurant. Used by locals, you may have to wait for a table but it's worth it! Very reasonable prices exceptionally good value. We had monkfish and shellfish cataplana just 25 € for 2 !!!

There you can find fresh and delicious sea food and if you want meat it has to offer too.
The prices are affordable. With less than 10€ you can eat well!
The place is pleasant to stay and the staff are polite and helpful!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I think its a family owned restaurant so it has a cozy vibe in it. The menu is simple but really delicious and hearty. We had the tourist menu; that has bread, paté, olives and soup for appetizer, Chicken piri piri with fries, salad and rice as the main course; your choice of dessert (I had chocolate mousse); 1/2 bottle of white wine; and an espresso shot. Everything costs 11,50€, which is really cheap for the quality and quantity of the food served. The old lady and a younger lady who served us were very warm and friendly. Overall, it was a really great food experience. ?

The food is gorgeous, full of flavour and super fresh. The restaurant is a little bit away from the very touristy area, which I was happy as it made it quite calm. The food is very traditional and they have all those amazing Portuguese dishes that you have to try. We had the cataplana for 2. which was ridiculously GOOD and very well served. The service is also very good, they are not pushy at all and give you all the space you need. The price is reasonable and it is in line with the price around the country (Not under or over priced). We were there for dinner two nights in a row, We really enjoyed our time there.
