Tuna was dry and not enough vegetables for me. Boiled potatoes was perfect. Sol was nice, but bone bigger than fish.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent Portuguese food. Felt homemade, in a very pleasant establishment. Service can be slow, but well worth the wait. Very helpful staff when a thunderstorm hit and we were quickly relocated indoors. Can recommend, well worth the visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best food we had during our stay. Fresh, traditional and a good selection. Not the same food that is in every other restaurant on the main streets.
No one badgering you to come into the restaurant, just a big menu sign and you go in if you want. The service was good and they appreciated us trying to speak Portuguese.
Fully recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Starter didn’t arrive, eventually main course arrived which was tuna steak, this was a little chewy and only just warm, vegetables were all cold and very bland. When I told the waiter he said it was because they had changed the table layout this evening and our dish had been sat waiting to be served! Clearly not our problem but he didn’t think it was his either. I found the staff didn’t listen and were just rushing from table to table, I would not recommend this restaurant whatsoever. Ruined my night.

The staff is professional, friendly and they suggested delicious options. It was so good that we returned to the same spot while being around the area. If you have a sweet tooth please ensure to mention the staff that you want to try the typical desserts from there; they have a selection of sweet tarts and flan that you may enjoy.
Was a lovely gesture to receive a shot of liquor and port wine after our meal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had my all time holiday favorite, the octopus. Don't cringe, it's very good. This one was well done, I had more than one tentacle to it, which was nice for a change! The animal was marinated in a delicious sauce. Crispy and chewy at the same time. The vegetables served around it were a bit bland. But I was glad to order them because they're scarce around here.
My partner order a "bife ala Portuguesa", marinated beef, potatoes topped with an egg.
A good address at the heart of the bustling streets of Albufeira, nice staff :)
