★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A small bakery where locals buy their daily bread, biscuits and cakes. If you are after colourfully looking cakes and pastries sold all over the Lagos for the tourists this is definately not where you want to go. It is simple and cheap as the bakeries should be with staple and small variety. It opens at 8am but many times the bread arrives 10-15 minutes later. I suggest order a coffee and sit at the bar talking to locals or listening to them while you wait for your fresh bread.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Typical Portuguese place with freshly made pastries. Service always comes with a smile, it is a popular place with the locals despite being very small indeed. Don't expect anything fancy, this is a simple and honest day to day bakery. I have gone back many times to enjoy a bit of piece and quiet away from the touristic spots. 2 pasteis de natal + coffee + tea came to 5 euros.
