This is an amazing place for a family holiday. It's quite a peaceful, quiet place apart from one night when we could hear music from the live entertainment on site. There is an outdoor communal pool at which you can use the sunbeds for free if you have a train pass to get to the beach. In terms of the beach, it is a 15 minute walk or if you don't have a train pass, it's one Euro on the little oil train each way. There is a supermarket on site which is quite pricy but it's better than nothing. There is also a tourist sort of shop and two restaurants, one of which is like a cafe. The cafe type one, Nora, is reasonably priced, for example a burger with chips would be around €8-10. The other restaurant is slightly more expensive and has different meals, such as carbonara and fish dishes. Other than that, the site itself is very nice, with lots of greenery and flowers. The nearest village is Santa Luzia which is about twenty minutes down the road. I would recommend this resort to anybody who wants a nice, relaxing holiday :)

Very good for famalies with children. Has everything you need, it's close to the beach, swimming pool, activities, restaurants, minimarket. The gardens are very well treated! The prices are a bit high in the facilities, but this is normal in a turistic place. The big issue is internet, if you have a 3G/LTE hotspot the coverage is poor and you only have wifi in the reception building, they don't give you access in fhe remaining facilities. Good if you want to have holidays and isolated, but not so good if you want to be online.

Location and proximity to Praia do Barril is excellent. The accommodation is way overpriced for the neglected and dated rooms with minimal basic facilities. We were very disappointed to realise the deceiving description of a "3-star hotel" which it's not. The grounds, swimming pool, bar and restaurant is pleasant and looked after. The staff are all friendly and speak English.

Poor accommodation, hard rocky pavements outside the villas are a danger to kids, I sliced open my big toe on uneven patio stones. Bar area is poor, food is of a poor standard, pool is far to small for the size of the resort. Beach is great, clean and safe. I advise renting a bicycle to get around on, very reasonable prices.

You can't beat the location of this place. Its extremely family friendly and close to the beach which you can access by the free train. The apartment complex are a kictue of studio, villas and apartments. We stayed in a villa. The villa has most things you need. The facilities in our villa were a bit run down and somethings could do with a refresh. Howe if you remember the idea is to spend most od your time outdoors there really is no issue! We would go again!

Beautiful place to stay in lovely surroundings near to a fabulous beach accessed by small train or you can walk over the Ria Formosa. Area of outstanding beauty. No high rise buildings and noisy night clubs.

A great place to unwind, not só Crowded as other places in Algarve. Good beach and amazing views. Great for nature watching, walking and relaxing. Plenty of space with ir without Covid.
