We had an amazing diner at Prado Mercearia, everything was perfect (the desserts are to die for). I wish they could open a restaurant in Paris someday! We will come back for sure.

Nice interior, but not so nice coffee. €5,70 for one cappuccino and coffee with milk. Both served very hot to the touch. The milk was literally boiled which resulted in a watery texture and lacking sweetness. Save your money and look elsewhere for a better experience.

Has a lot of potential, still need some work on the execution and communication. I had lunch here yesterday with a dear friend. It was her recommendation and I was happy to try something new. The daily menu in the Mercearia (think small store/cafe) is VERY limited. For example, there were 4 items on the daily menu and one was dessert. The others were a pork dish, a seafood dish, and a tomato salad. My friend and I both opted for the seafood dish and tomato salad. (She also had the dessert). The tomato salad was delightful! I loved the "ponzuesque" sauce and the dried fruit that they used. (Think of a really nice heirloom tomato salad) The *only* problem was that when they cut up the tomatoes, they added the piece with the stem terminal in the salad as well. I thought that was a bit careless for this type of establishment. The seafood dish was very flavourful but slightly overpriced for the ingredients and for a casual cafe-style eatery in Lisbon. It also was not filling at all. I'm not a big eater by any means and 2 hours later I was hungry again. (We did not have any bread.) The wines were amazing and properly priced. (I was actually very impressed with their selection. Small hard-to-find production. Kudos to them.) The dessert (which my friend had) was great, but it was not described well on their menu or in person (in English OR in Portuguese). The chef came out and told us that what was labeled as “yogurt” was actually PANA COTTA. That’s a completely different situation! Instead of dessert, I had an espresso and one of the cookies (which was ok, not amazing.) The service was absolutely excellent. A young Brazilian woman who was very attentive and pleasant. I’d definitely give them another try. I would suggest that they rethink their offer and consider more variety and a bit more care in the presentation and communication of the product. I would NOT eat here again if the only two non-pork / non-meat dishes on the menu were too light to be satisfying. Lunch was 55 euros for 2 tomato salads, 2 seafood salads, 1 dessert, 3 glasses of wine, a coffee and a cookie and olives.

Dishes 10/10, we tried the whole daily menu, watermelon ceviche and cheese plate are fav. Wine selection was exceptional, especially arriving from the north, where only a few shops were available. once the serveur notices you they are kind as family. Coffee is a bit burnt, could be better. Loved the music!

OMG ! Where to start ??? The staff was superfriendly, very nice and helpfull all the time. We went for a short stop there and we ended up for 3 hours there as we wanted to try everything. The selection of their wines was just superb ( we tried pet nat and orange wine ). The way how they serve food was extraordinary as all the tableware matched with the interior and the taste was very unique. Thank you very much, we will be back ! ❤️

A great little restaurant with an amazing atmosphere that reminds you of a grocery store from a time long past. The menu is a direct reflection of chef Antonio Galapito’s network of Portuguese farmers, fishermen and winemakers. It’s good, tasty food that isn’t pretentious. Food is deeply connected to nature. Or to quote the restaurant’s website: “if it’s not in season, it’s not in the table.” The ingredients are always the star, and impressive smoking and fermentation techniques are common. A great place for people to try when they’re in Lisbon.
