★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm not sure what my expectations of Rapture were...but the camp far exceeded any expectations I might have had!
From day 1, I felt right at home - despite the size of the camp, it feels cosy and truly like a family. I made so many new friends, it felt like I had been there for much longer.
With breakfast and dinner included, and options to surf, SUP, kayak, cycle, skate and do yoga, you can choose to either chill or fill all of your time with activities.
Although a little out of the centre of town, you can walk, cycle or take a cheap taxi into the centre.
I couldn't recommend the camp enough!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was there this summer and my opinion is that it is highly ovetprized, they promise you stuff that never occurs, 50 euros night for a shared room with a bad bed and an 12 people shared shower its obviously not worth it. Its like a camp for dumb people. Thought the staff is nice and the placement is good!

When I did my booking I was promised a large variety of things I never got to receive.
Surf footage of my lesson, theory lessons and dinner included.
The dinner included was only for Monday to Friday and hence we arrived for the weekend we paid the same for no dinner included. 50 euros per night each for a shared room between two and a bathroom shares for 12 people.
Nice volunteers working and nice staff I will say again. Just need to give value for money.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you`re looking for a Surfcamp, this is the best place you can choose. The camp itself is beautiful, surfboards and wetsuits are well maintained and the location is unbeatable - the beach is literally right in front and you can check the waves without even leaving the house. What really makes it so special, are the people as you can feel the love and how much work, dedication and passion is put into it. They also cater for vegans, and the food is incredible!
( unlike someone else stated in their review , the rock music was very welcome =D )

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overpriced place (50e per night for a shared room and bathroom). Horrible breakfast with only toasts and yoghurts.
We joined the bbq (14euros) and ended up dinning breast chicken and potatoes.
Some of the staff is nice (others are not).
Wouldnt recommend it considering that you can get much better places for half the price.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing surfcamp close to the beach and in around 20min walking sistance to Ericeira. Beautiful landscape around (hills, river, cliffs, beach,...), nice chill out areas and comfy rooms. The staff and the other guests were really cool and helpful people, we had a lot of fun together. The food is amazing! You can rent bikes, stand up paddle boards, kayaks, skateboards, yoga mats for free. Also you can do yoga lessons, surfskate lessons and sound healing lessons and they organize bar nights, cliff evenings, bbq, movie nights... The surf lessons were also very good and well organized with really cool surf teachers, so they were definitly wort their money! We had 10 amazing days with Rapture Surfcamp and want to go back asap! Trust me, go there!!! :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been in several surf camps the last couple of years and this is the first time the staff members are not friendly. I expected them to be much more involved with the group but they did not contribute to the good atmosphere of the camp. The rooms were not bad, although there was only one bathroom for every floor and we were 12 people. The best thing about the surf camp was the location and the local surf teachers.
