É um chef de referência na cozinha portuguesa. Em 2002 rumou à Escola de Hotelaria e Turismo no Estoril e foi aí que se começou a desenhar uma história de sucesso. Em 2009 conquistou o galardão de cozinheiro do ano, no Concurso Nacional de Cozinheiros. Passou já por vários projetos como Chef executivo, nomeadamente pelos restaurantes Hemingway, na marina de Cascais, Mãe Luísa, em Rio Maior e Soberba em Lisboa. Adora cozinhar para os seus amigos, tem uma adoração pela cozinha tradicional Portuguesa com um “cunho” moderno e sofisticado. Neste momento é chef executivo do renovado restaurante Ribas Marisqueira, na Ericeira. Onde promete reinventar os típicos pratos de marisco e peixe, tão conhecidos na região.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful space that matches the delicious food! Do not be out off by the prices, they weigh the fish and seafood and show you before they cook your meal! We had 3 adults, shared an entree, had two bottle of wine, shared a risotto and the fish!! Was only 110 euro! Such good value for money and the quality is high! We’ll be back and I highly recommend. Great staff, they help you choose and wouldn’t let us over order !!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unfortunately, this once iconic restaurant just isn't the same anymore, as it recently got sold and completely refurbished, losing the original charm and quality. The food prices went up, the staff was not very present (we were a big group and the place was practically empty) and the quality of the food was a huge let down compared to the old restaurant. They should have kept the original cooks and recipes, but since they didn't maybe a change of name was more appropriate. Will try again in a few months and hopefully things might have improved. One suggestion: ask your customers if they want butter in the bread before spreading it yourselves.

Weather was cold at that time and the staff were super friendly and offered warm blankets for all of us because there were only tables available outside. Our waitress, Rafaela, was absolutely AMAZING!!! She took very good care of us, always with a smile, good conversation and food/wine recommendations. Food quality was also SUPERB! Compliments to the Chef indeed. We left the place with a full belly and a massive smile, mainly because the whole experience was amazing, and also because the wine was good! Thanks you all at Ribas Marisqueira, we will come back!!! Um abração especial à Rafaela <3

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My favorite seafood restaurant so far in the area. Try the gooseneck barnacles and murex. Something new! The oysters were very fresh. Smoked octopus super tender. The chocolate dessert super divine. Excellent service as well. It was a perfect first meal representation in Portugal.
