Ritz & Freud B&B

Un 10 en limpieza y en coquetería. Las habitaciones no son muy grandes pero la verdad es que son super cómodas. José es muy atento y te recomienda muchos sitios que visitar y dónde comer. Lo único es que nadie nos informó de las tasas de turistas y nos pilló por sorpresa 2€ por persona y por noche. Nada escandaloso pero no contábamos con ello.

A room with a private bathroom at this price is nearly impossible - so quality in a cheaper price. We have contacted the property and Jose was fine with our early check in. Tania who gave us the key was very freindly and helpful. Within 1 min of walking distance you will find the famous 28E tram stop. The room was not so big but not crowdy. It has everything inside the room and same goes with the toilet what comes with shower. The bed is super comfy and you will feel that those are clean. Small kettle, couple of cups, glasses, coffee sachets, sugars everything were provided. There's a tiny balcony with 2 chairs as well. WiFi was great with a TV with English channels. You can enjoy passing trams from the balcony.

This B&B was just perfect. It was super clean and had everything we needed, a beautiful balcony with the prettiest view, a little bathroom with a rain shower as well as a comfortable bed with a tv, which included a variety of cool channels if you’re up for a movie at night after an exhausting day. The breakfast was despite of current restrictions very filling and good! The location is simply terrific, you can get pretty much everywhere within walking distance and if you’re lazy, there’s tram stations just around the corner. There are countless very good bars and restaurants for any budget. Jose has been the best host ever, he explained everything we needed to know at our arrival plus some insider tips for our stay in Lisbon. Additionally we received all that information printed out as well, which was nice. Whenever we had questions or requests, Jose was available, the rest of the staff was very welcoming and friendly as well. Also a huge plus: the WiFi connection has been constantly perfect! I’ve been to a lot of B&Bs and Hotels all over the globe and I can surely say that this counts to my top list of best price-performance ratio. Would most definitely recommend, thank you again Ritz & Freud, we will be coming back for sure! Literally nothing to complain about. I’ve seen some complains about the noise beforehand, which yes it’s a little noisy but a.) this is Lisbon, if you want to stay in the center you will have to deal with some noise and b.) if you close the windows + balcony doors it is absolutely fine and not loud at all.

Pros: Very central, very cheap, spotlessly clean with room service everyday Con: The double room with own bathroom is located next to where the tram goes. It can get quite nosy but it's fine with earplugs. Double bed is only 1.40m and you can feel the springs in the mattress. Nevertheless, we've paid 40€/night for 2 people and it's super central which is why I'm still giving it 5 stars because you get what you pay for and the room service made it for me
