★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We chose this place for its setting in a lovely courtyard and it was worth the wait. They even gave us some free tasty potato skins while we waited for a table. We chose a few appetizers as tapas. Great portions and the octopus salad was a definite highlight along with the aubergine. Highly recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don't waste your money. First of all, they gonna bring you bread olives and chips even without asking you, and you need to pay it. Don't get me wrong, the price is ok for it, but I never asked for !
As you can see on the picture, we just ordered stuff mushrooms and it ran us 11 €, without drinks. And the staff is very unfriendly.
Walk few meters away and you will get better bang for buck.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A cosy place in the historical part the kitchen is always open it seems we came at 15.30 but no worries. The menu is mainly fish butbhas some meat options. Simple menu , friendly hosts. Good food, so overall a pleasant experience.

Hidden in the heart of Alfama, it’s far enough off the beaten track to ensure you dine amongst the locals and get a real taste of homemade Portuguese cuisine. Perfect for a lunch on the terrace with friends or a romantic evening. What’s more, it’s pet friendly!
