★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was one of the 2 Fado places recommended by our AirBnB as authentic. It did not disapoint. The singing was an intimate and moving experience. The food was delicious as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ DO NOT COME HERE. AVOID. Lady is extremely rude. Forced us to order more food than we asked for and the main plates are disgusting. Charged for items we did not order at the beginning. Left feeling very sick from the food and regretted coming here. Overpriced for bad food and insane portions.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very welcoming place with beautiful fado singers, without the tacky tourist trap feeling. We were the only foreigners in the place when we stumbled upon it one Saturday night. It had a very authentic and friendly atmosphere.

English wasn't a problem for me if you make an effort and I heard them speak French as well. Food was faultless and very generous (and very reasonable price), and I would definitely recommend. Thank you for the hospitality! Worth noting cash only, but worth it

But the bill moment was a bit weird. Starter we did not order 7 euros, main dishes with incorrect amounts and when explained a bit rude and again wrong. Be careful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loved the place!! Owner’s wife was very attentive to all her guests and the fado singing was the highlight of our night. The food tasted amazing (chorizo and pork loin) and the sangria was nice too. The restaurant owner also sang which was a nice surprise. Loved the place and would highly recommend.

Fish was amazing, rice too, and the snacks they bring in the beginning was perfect addition to the main dish. Moreover there is a fado music (at least on Saturdays) and the owner himself is singing it too! Would totally recommend if you look for real Portuguese place.
