This is the cod that was thrown on our table by the shockingly poor waitress (daughter of the owner) after we commented that we didn't like it (it was flavourless and rubbery). Unfortunately it descended from there, with the waitress jabbing at me with her finger, and the owner speaking in a very unpleasant way.
The two Indian waiters were fantastic, really good guys - it's such a shame. The sardines were great, and the salmon was tasty also. It could have been a great meal, but the service from one waitress and the owners was the worst I've ever experienced. Avoid.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We got there late and had to wait for a table but it was well worth it. Best food we ate in Alfama during our 4 day stay and the prices were bellow average.
We had salmon with potatoes and salad, cheese salad with fruit and nuts and one portion of olives with home backed bread.
The food was amazing!!! The salmon was well done, not oily like in other places in Alfama, a bit salty but overall good. Really really big portion. We had trouble finishing it
The salad was exotic and interesting and the portion was more than sufficient.
Totally recommend this place.
