★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stopped in here to try the Ginja, we were on or way back from dinner. The owners were so kind and inviting. I definitely see where they get their rating. The Ginja was delightful we enjoyed two each before heading back to our hotel.

The old man speaks English. Very friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small place in a small alley in Alfama. Perfectly suited for a limited group to enjoy a vinho verde, a ginja (-cocktail) and a few things to eat before continuing your trip in Lisbon.
The staff is very helpful and welcoming. I can imagine it getting pretty crowdy here, in a good way.
The gazpacho was very nice and I was kind of sad not getting to try every dish on the menu. Then again, I’ve had the feeling many times during my stay in Lisbon.
