A	Azadeh Zahedi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I waited for 45 mins and then they gave me very bad quality and tasteless sardine plate with zero flavor when I told the staff. She was rude and aggresive to me. Worse experience in my last day in Lisbon. The staff even were fighting each other in front of the customers.

My husband and I are vegetarians and after a long afternoon of strolling the streets of Alfama, we thought it would be easy enough to find a hearty meal near the Fado Museum since there are so many restaurants nearby. However, it was way more difficult than it seemed! We spent the next hour struggling to find a place where we could eat a proper lunch (not just sides like rice or salad!) and we were extremely lucky to find Restaurante Patrono. The owner saw us having a difficult time and asked us what we were looking for. When we told her a vegetarian dish she offered to make us pataniscas with vegetables rather than fish and it was perfect. It wasn't officially on the menu but it really should be. The serving size was large and also came with a big bowl of fantastic rice. Not to mention the price was incredibly affordable for lunch, only costing 9 euros each. We both loved the dish and really appreciated the owner made it special for us knowing our dilemma. We also had some coffee cake, wine, and salad and all-in-all it was one of our favorite experiences we've had in Portugal so far. Can't recommend it enough if you're in the area or just want to try an authentic Portuguese dish without any meat or fish!

Very tender price very good comparable to other places where you overpay and portions are much smaller. Recommending. We didn't had any issu. It was our last day so wish we discovered this place earlier
