★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You would not go there just for food. I mean it is ok, but similar to other places in Lisbona. However you have to go there for Fado experience - local artist give pretty good show and engage the audience. Overall a good night out.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is absolutely vibrant and alive thanks to the Fados traditional scenery and genuine customer service. It isn't the cheapest place to eat, but two people can have a perfect meal for less than 50€. Recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent, not one Fado interprete, but three or four or five, you pay a bit more, but every Euro is it worth, at the end you sing by yourself... And the whole world ? is there Americans of course, but also French, Germans, Chinese and les espagnoles... I like it.. ?

We were so impressed by the talents and their different styles of singing. The service was friendly and excellent; they made sure we are satisfied and happy with what we got. The food was good but the price is on the high side - though we are in the middle of Alfama and with such amazing entertainment (there were 5 fado singers alternating with a duet!) so it's understandable.
Def try to book a table if you can so you can enjoy the full night. This is the place to be for fado!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Traditional Portuguese food with great fado! Food was good but the best part was the amazing fado performances all evening. Had a great time ? (Note: most of the outdoor tables are on an incline but didn't pose too much trouble when eating :))

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small, cosy restaurant with great Fado performances. There were a total of 7-8 artists who took turns to play the guitar and sing! The music was melancholic. The food was great too (surprisingly!). We called for bread and butter, cod cakes and the soup of the day (Alentejo soup). The soup was the clear winner! For mains we ordered the Grilled Salmon and Sardines. It was filling with large portion sizes and flavourful. Thoroughly enjoyed the evening. For a table inside, make a reservation in advance else come in by 7:30 before the performance starts. It gets very busy post 8:30 with people listening from the square. Service can be a bit slow during this period (as some of the artists double up as waiters too!). Enjoyable evening!
