Morei por um ano no alojamento em Alameda e só guardo boas recordações. A localização é excelente, muito próximo à estação de metrô, ao IST, mercados, pastelarias e comércios em geral. Durante minha estadia, posso afirmar que a proprietária Luísa e a equipe de limpeza foram sempre muito atenciosas e prestativas, dispostas a resolver qualquer questão com muita gentileza e agilidade. O apartamento é bastante aconchegante, limpo e agradável, exatamente como nas fotos. Mesmo durante a pandemia de Covid-19, me senti muito confortável para permanecer como se estivesse em casa. Recomendo sem dúvidas e se tiver outra oportunidade, com certeza voltarei a me hospedar lá.

Awful experience not because of the place or the people living there but the owners of the business

I lived there during 5 months and was very good! The location and the apartment are amazing and the owner, Luisa, was very kind and lovely with me and my friend (who lived together with me there). We miss our rooms there rs. I recommend it!

I had a very comfortable stay, even with the whole covid-19 crisis. Both Luísa and Paula were very nice and always ready to help with any issues I might have. The place is also very nice and clean, with all the services and appliances they promise being properly offered. My only issue was with the noise, which could be a little bit too much at times, but I'm pretty sure it came mainly from the neighbors, haha.

I lived for a year and a half and the only defect is the owner (Luisa). All the bad times I had at the house were due to her. I am a Brazilian woman, with 35/36 years old at the time (2018-2020). Here are some examples of those bad times. In 2020, she made a comment in front of me and of another Brazilian girl that, if she could, she would only let Nordics live in the residence because they had more care and better education, and since the Latins would be considered careless with the house. The only time I took a visit (a colleague of mine) to the house was in September of 2019, around lunchtime, we were having tea in the living room (common area) with another resident, and Luisa came in and spoke in front of my colleague that he should leave the house immediately. She never apologized. (the context was that she considered that the residents were taking many visits, which I had never done before, and she had emailed the day before that visits could only come under her permission. As it was the next day, I had not seen email, but it was no excuse for that kind of treatment). In my view, Luisa sometimes acts by pushing her problem or responsibility to you. For example, when I got the first room I stayed in, I had a mini fridge that was not freezing well (I found out that other mini fridges had already had this problem and therefore she was aware of this incident before), but when I spoke to her, the first answer she gave me was that the fridge was working fine until I arrived. That is, she implied that I was the responsible one for that, even I barely moved in. By the way, I suggest you to read the entire contract, as she often emails all the residents mentioning it, especially the fines, as a "threat". But, as I mentioned, she considered herself entitled to create penalties not existent in the contract too, such as the prohibition of visits to everyone, even though she knew who was not among the responsibles for a situation that she considered undesirable. Among the residents, she was the subject of complaints of many people who lived with me all this time. I leave my respect and affection to Mrs. Paula, responsible for the cleaning, a person that gained my confidence. She is a professional with ethics, respect for the others and responsibility.

I really recommend Students Experience, and especially Alexandre Herculano. The apartment is very nice and clean and located in the best area. It is close to everything, e.g. the bus, and metro are less than 5 minutes away and the park is also very close. The owner, Luisa, is also very nice and very kind, she even gave me a little cake for my birthday. Despite the Covid-19 situation Students Experience managed to make it one of the best experiences of my life. Thank you for everything.

I really recommend this place if you are looking for a nice place to stay. First of all, Luísa is a very kind and understandable landlord. She is always there if you need something! The rooms are very clean, a well equipped kitchen, a nice common area and a outdoor area, perfect for when it's hot outside. The cleaning service is definitely a big advantage! Filipe Folque is perfectly located. Its a very quiet neighborhood at night, close to several supermarkets and 5 mins away from 3 different metro lines, what do you need more! I enjoyed my time to the fullest and can only think about good memories of Filipe Folque!
