★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food and wine were absolutely delicious! The mixed cheese and meat plate was amazing, and we also loved the lamb with honey and almonds.
The service was also really good! A good place to eat if you visit Coimbra!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An excellent wine list is at your disposal. The food is well prepared, somewhat creative and very tasty. Try the duck croquettes and the lamb chops with honey and toasted almonds. I did and it was super cool.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’m from NYC and am very judgmental of my food experiences but I was delighted with my evening at Tapas and Costas. The staff generously opened a bottle of sparkling wine for me, even though there was not one available by the glass on the menu. The duck confit croquettes (with plum jam) were an outstanding start to my meal! I had the lamb chops which were cooked perfectly and had a subtle sweetness due to the honey that is on it. I had the eggs, bacon, mushrooms & fries dish as well. It was a tad over salted, otherwise it was still tasty & I did enjoy it. I had a glass of the house red which was light/medium bodied and very easy to drink and finished my meal with another glass of sparkling. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and would recommend you trying it as well. Thanks again for the wonderful hospitality TnC!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Soup was extremely delicious and the fennel salad as well. Would not recommend the vegetarian focaccia. Too salty crust (almost inedible and i like my food to be strongly flavored) and bread was not fresh. Basque burned cheesecake was ok, but didnt leave any impression. Friendly staff. 3,5/5 resulting in 4 due to the staff being very accommodating by offering me a seat and the best soup in ages.
