Tasquinha do Caco by Faros

I will be honest and as always I will try to make a constructive critique that helps to improve. I will start by saying and I want to make it very clear that customer care and treatment is exceptional. There were some mistakes but they solved it fantastically and there is nothing to say against it. The criticism is basically for the food. I honestly expected more. I was expecting more quality and I was expecting more quantity. For the kind of business it purports to be, I feel it needs to improve on these aspects. I understand and am aware that we ordered tapas but keep in mind the prices and other references from other restaurants, the portions could be better. As for the quality of the food ... I always like to be guided by the restaurant’s recommendations, so following them I ordered “moelas” and “pica-pau.” As I said before, keep in mind the prices the portions were ridiculous and in the case of the pica-pau it had a "sauce" (it looked like water) with a lot of garlic flavor, so you ended up not enjoying the dish. On the other hand, as I am from the province of Lleida, I asked for screws and I took another disappointment. They were extremely small and again had a lot of "sauce" (flavored water again ... are they canned?). Will I be back? I doubt it because as I said, I have visited other places where for the price I have had a better experience. If I finally did it would probably be to order a dish, as when we went out I saw how they served pasta dishes and they looked really good. Maybe my mistake was wanting to try the lids.

In terms of service it's great; we were well received and attended to at all times. It's a shame that the food was a little short in terms of flavor and portions considering the price.

When I saw the price list I thought it was too expensive, wherever I go I usually eat nails in the bread, however when the order came, I was surprised by the quality, the meat was Excellent, a very tall and tender steak, and it was accompanied by french fries . It was wonderful, I strongly advise you to come here and spend 10€. Being from here in the area, I will return for sure.

The desk clerk is super kind and served us very well. However the food was a total disappointment. I left there hungry, 4 euros for 3 fish douradinhos...we ordered a hamburger spotted and the meat came completely raw in the middle and the chef said it was like that. The withered and dark fries, the watery veggie burger came missing ingredients and they didn't warn me, and they didn't. I figured it out myself. Anyway, I left there hungry and had to go somewhere else to eat.
