★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We (my wife and myself) decided to go out and sample the Indian food in Alvor and we chose to go "Tasty Cuisine" in Alvor. When we arrived there it was very quiet and it looked like some building work was going on. We asked the person greeting us if they were open for business and he replied with a resounding "Yes". He explained that they were in the process of upgrading and expanding the restaurant.
Well, we were the only customers there and obviously a bit nervous, but this was to be expected in some way, because February is a quiet time in the Algarve. But we were pleasantly surprised, the service was excellent and the food even better. We couldn't have wished for more. The waiter who was serving us had only just started the job, this was a historic moment! We asked him if he would honour us with a photo and so he did!
Highly recommended and if we get back to Alvor, we'll visit the restaurant again!

We were greeted warmly by them. the food was delicious and awesome. the value was excellent compared to other prices we had seen and we found the quality and atmosphere hard to match during the rest of our stay.
