★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In the Center of Alvor you can find Sereia, where you can have a meal of good local fish. The staff is friendly and the food is good. You also have fresh sea fish (price based on the weigth) if you want something different. There wasn't nothing out of the ordinary, all was ok. The fish soup was a bit disappointint because everything was triturated (in some places they leave the small pieces of fish). Be also careful with their prices in the outside to "call" for customers, on the inside some prices may differ and the tourists normally doesn't notice that. In the overall, 4*'s.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We visited Sereia twice in December. Both visits were very good. The fresh fish was as good as anywhere in Alvor. Each of the staff were pleasant, professional and made sure we were looked after. Clear evidence of good Covid compliance so we were comfortable visiting. Good wine list also. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Alvor.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good quality restaurant with professional friendly staff, and excellent food. I’m just knocking one star off as we had to wait an hour for the food. Otherwise great

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So good, it was the only place we ate twice at. The lunchtime special was so good, we booked our last night's meal here. The ribs were delicious, hardly touched the chips, the salmon on cheesy potatoes with a layer of spinach was my wife said, one of the nicest meals I have ever had. The house red wine was very drinkable!! Thoroughly recommend everything about this lovely restaurant, not least the friendly staff, see you in 2022.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great location right in the centre of town next to the harbour.
We decided to go here for lunch as it's always busy and the food looked good.
We ordered bread and olives to start, with Sardines for two as our main, this came with potatoes and salad.
The Sardines were really fresh and the portion size was really good. The sides were a little lacking, some more potatoes wouldn't go a miss and help round off the meal.
The team were friendly and approachable, order was taken quickly and not much of a wait for the food.
I liked it but wouldn't rush back there for another meal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely place very close to the harbour. Was very busy on a Saturday but staff were friendly and helpful (and spoke English). Waited probably 30 minutes for main course, but not a problem on a busy day. Selected from the £11.80 menu, Sea Bass and Little Squids that came with potatoes and a mixed salad. Very enjoyable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We chose this restaurant for our last dinner in Algarve and we loved it! To start, they take the sanitary measures very serious, checked out certificates, disinfected the table/seats so this made us feel really safe. The waiters are very friendly and efficient and the service is great, they pay a lot of attention to details (your wine glass never gets empty, they changed the plate for the seafood shells very often, etc.). The food was great; we had the Cataplana and we loved it. The portions are big and the desert was also great. For the quality they offer, the price is fair. We recommend it!
