O nome desta vila, contrariamente ao que se poderá pensar, não tem como significado, alvorada, início do dia, mas sim fortaleza, castelo, derivando do árabe al-burdj. Terra com forte tradição marítima e piscatória, com grandes crenças religiosas, assinaladas pela Igreja Matriz, onde se pode apreciar o seu pórtico principal que se destaca pela sua grande riqueza decorativa. We are sorry that we didn't take your names but we visited today at lunchtime and thank you for your attentive service. Our table was visited by the chef to make sure all was well - nice touch. We can highly recommend this restaurant

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We recently visited this restaurant and I was nicely surprised with high food quality and plenty of different local dishes to pick. What’s made a different at this place to others similars, it is the attention of all staff, they are really focus in trying to give you a unique service. Menu was very extensive, so waiter gave us a great suggestions with the food and deserts and that was amazing. Food was very tasty and freshly made. We had a table near the glass wall, so we could see the beautiful ocean as well. I would recommend to anyone.
