★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stayed in this hostel several times before and I always love to return. Very relaxed atmosphere, always a place to meet interesting people and the owners and employees put their heart into making this a wonderful place. This time was the first time I stayed here since the Covid19 breakout, and I am impressed by how well they are handling this challenging situation. I felt very safe from the virus during my stay. They are disinfecting very often and really put thought into how to keep the spaces clean and safe.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a lovely place! It's like being in a villa, it has a chill, laidback vibe, good, sparkling clean facilities and attention for detail is given. The owner and staff are super nice and do everything to make you feel at home :) The kitchen is great (they even got dishwashers ?), there's a BBQ available every night and the bar is a chill place to hang out and meet other travelers. It's also a good base for surfing, especially if you have a car. I've been to dozens of hostels in my travels and this is definitely among the top! The place to be in Sagres.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was the best hostel we have ever been to. We felt so welcomed by the staff and the people staying there. You can feel how much love the owners put into their hostel, always asking us if we need anything and helping us with every question we had. Even with the reduction of the maximum capacity the hostel was full of funny and interesting people.They’re handling the current situation really well, everyone was obliged to wear a mask inside but because of the huge outside area with bbq, bar and pool people can still get together. We would recommend it to everyone!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing place! I stayed at the hostel for 5 nights and had a really great time. The staff is super nice always looking out for everyone to have a great time. My room as well as the bathroom and the rest of the common area were super clean. The outside area with the pool and the hammocks is a great place to chill after an exhausting surf session. They were also providing the barbecue for the guests every night which was super nice. Definitely planning on coming back when I’m in Portugal again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is for sure one if the best hostels I stayed at in Portugal. Superchill vibe, social and a great place to meet new people. Lovely staff that are very helpful at every hour during the day. Also free Pilates and yoga classes on the rooftop which was amazing. Superclean hostel in general and you can definitely see that all the staff put that extra effort into making this hostel this great. Thanks for an amazing week!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were there in July, so much fun but the real highlight is Jesus helping us boosting our car battery. And while he was boosting us we realized he was the owner. What a cool dude! We were instantly so stoked on the guy. Really nice and genuine guy and his dog is super cute. Also thanks to all the hostel staff : Manuella, Jack and everyone else. This place is an oasis for sure. Much love guys!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stayed 9 nights at the Lighthouse Hostel and it has a great vibe to it. I have stayed at many hostels and I am yet to have seen one organized as well. Staff is always available, they make sure the hostel is very clean and do a great job making you feel welcome. A big plus is the bbq done each evening. Many of the guests I met had stayed there before and I can see why they choose to return.
