My father and brother had never tried natural wines before and they really enjoyed the whole experience! I had never tried natural wines from Portugal and I enjoyed learning about some really cool producers! Highly recommend this place!!

R	Rachel Miers on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love this unique space! What is it? Part tasting room, part classroom part wine shop. I stumbled into the LAB @ Catavino and met the owner Ryan. I rang the doorbell and Ryan opened up the shop for me, (it is not always open but someone is usually here he tells me). Ryan showed me a really cool selection of organic and natural wines. I saw some oldies but goodies and some wines I had never heard of before (I work in the Portuguese wine biz in the US). You can also learn about the wine and food tours Ryan runs throughout Portugal. It is worth a visit! - Rachel

Ryan has curated an incredible collection of Portuguese wine (which he generously let me taste while I was there!). The shop is available to the public M-F, just make sure you ring the doorbell to have someone come let you in. Ryan also runs Catavino tours which features tailored experiences throughout the Portuguese wine regions - harvest and stomp grapes, dine above the vineyards, hike the mountains, swim in crystalline waters, and gain expertise from master winemakers while walking through vines. The adventure awaits!
