 Exchange at a store in the airport. I felt I had less ruble I had on my trip to Moscow. After all, I have not examined the exchange route. I heard that cashing online information and paying as soon as I return home is the best.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Boa tarde. É lamentável que após o fim das obras na Vossa agência da Parede, ainda não se tenha procedido à limpeza das instalações. Os vidros estão nojentos. Há pó por todos os lados. Os computadores que funcionam estão carregados de pó e somos nós clientes, que vimos à internet porque não a temos em casa, que com a roupa vamos limpando o pó às secretárias. Lamentável. Se houvesse outro local na Parede já tinha mudado de sítio ao fim de 3 anos de aqui vir, mas vamos esperar até quando e onde vai parar a falta de limpeza. Teresa Morais
Good afternoon. It is unfortunate that after the end of the work at your agency at Parede, the premises have not yet been cleaned. The glasses are gross. There is dust everywhere. The computers that work are loaded with dust, and we are customers, who come to the Internet because we don't have it at home, and with our clothes we wipe dust off at our desks. Unfortunate. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ O meu atendimento foi via telefone e foi uma péssima experiência. Fiz perguntas básicas sobre taxas de câmbio e cotação do dia, e o funcionário não quis passar informações por telefone. Parecia estar com pressa e não demonstrou o menor interesse em "cativar" o cliente.
My service was over the phone and it was a bad experience. I asked basic questions about exchange rates and the day's quote, and the clerk declined to give information over the phone. He seemed to be in a hurry and showed no interest in "captivating" the customer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They charge you 6 euros as convenience fees when the tax refund is 16 euros. Portugal has quite a confusing system where your refund can be split among several companies such as Global Blue, Planet Free etc. At the airport they do not operate between 23:30 and 5:00 am / 6:00 am making it quite tough to get your tax refund.

Male staff not only patronising but weirdly unprofessional, with repeated complaints of being uncompensated “not 1 cent” by Innovatax.
This was despite a hefty admin fee of €3 for a €15 refund.
Disgraceful way to leave Lisbon Airport.
