Fabulous hotel. Second time and would love to go back again. So chilled out and relaxing.

Beautiful hotel, surreal location, friendly dinner staff (special shoutout goes to Camilla and the lovely gentleman that serves the bread, the gentleman that explains the food in the evening, the lady at breakfast with the long plait, along with Elisabeth the Cross fit trainer ;) ). The only reason why it is not a 5 star rating from me is because of Ronnie the waiter. We booked this hotel on a Full Board basis, Ronnie was incapable of explaining concisely and clearly what we are entitled to on the menu thereby making us incur a bill of 32 euros on 2 occasions the same day we had landed. After thoroughly explaining the situation this had to be wiped off the bill. Don't get me wrong, 32 euros is chicken change, but why should we have to pay due to the lack of communication? What made it worse was 2 things: 1. We were told that it is emailed on the confirmation booking what we are entitled and what we are not on a full board basis. First off, that wasn't the case. Secondly, I clearly and rather quickly replied that person and said, in the event that your guests are elderly and have problems reading, is that what you have to say to them? Staff should be trained to make this clear before every meal despite this. It takes 2 minutes to do this, and I therefore saw this as an excuse, and not a point. So, if you are on full board, please be careful of what you order, otherwise you might be handed an unnecessary bill that members of the team will ask you to sign for so they can charge it to the room. 2. Secondly, it was not communicated to other people on the team that the bill had been wiped clear off our room, thereby causing the manager for that day to further question us on the day we were leaving, just 10 minutes before we were to leave the hotel, and also again 2 minutes before our taxi was to arrive. This of course did not change the circumstance. We were not going to pay, and we were assured that we don't have to pay. Simple. The only other improvement i would lay for the hotel is to have more options in terms of dinner. It was the same menu we had everyday. The versatility of breakfast and lunch, should be carried down into Dinner also. Apart from that, i thoroughly enjoyed my stay, but if i do book the hotel again,, or on behalf of my clients because i am a travel agent, it would be on a breakfast/half board only basis only. In general it is a good place with great areas. It can be bad but also good that it is a bit isolated from other places since you can properly rest but also if you want to go anywhere you need to drive. Nice swimming pool for kids and adults, great areas around.

Beautiful, quiet resort. Good facilities. Very clean and well organized to keep people safe.

This is possibly the best place to stay in Carvoeiro, just so long as you have a car to get around. The serviced apartments are well equipped, in good condition and very comfortable. The restaurant serves good food, but at hotel prices. Indoor and outdoor pools are great, nice gym and spa is excellent. I have yet to find a real downside to this place

An excellent resort. 5* from start to finish. The villa was clean and excellently equipped (the decor a little dated but fine). Food and staff were excellent. The pool and facilities top class. The resort is a little out of town but in great location to explore the western Algarve. Taxis are excellent and Uber works. We will definitely be back

My family had a wonderful and peaceful 5 nights staying at Vale D’oliveiras Resort in February. The lovely lady at reception noticed from my passport that it was my birthday soon and kindly upgraded us to the superior 2 bedroom apartment! On the day of my birthday, the reception brought us a bottle of champagne and a piece of cake with a card! What a surprise! Obrigada! We were really really pleased with the level of service, the spacious and well decorated interior and literally everything was faultless! The breakfast selection wasn’t massive, but enough for us to choose from and the mini egg tarts were just as delicious as you will find in Lisboa. I am going to make a video for this well deserved and wonderful resort and upload it on YouTube in due course. And I have already spreaded my recommendations to all my friends xx

The hotel has very warm, friendly service and comfortable facilities. It surely met our expectation of five star hotel. The olive tree restaurant offers great attentive service and a variety of food. The waiters and waitresses are so friendly and warm. Indoor swimming pool very warm and clean. SPA center is serene and offers great anti stress massage The Hotel is located in a rural area in spread out layout. Grocery shopping minutes drive away. Staying in this hotel is perfect for families who want to stay comfortable and far away from anything In the middle of countryside
