★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good food, nice ambiance, the chef suggestions were great. I had the tasting menu and it surprised me, which is something I don't say lightly. The sake cocktail was very good.
Very nice server, it seemed to be her first day but very very nice. Experience helps but isn't everything, I'll get back to that in the end.
A bit pricey, having a meal here won't be very frequent. The quality of the sushi was great, which is becoming very rare, and the fish was very fresh ... Portions were quite enough, maybe even a tad over what I was expecting. So, yes it was worth it.
So, neighbourhood restaurant, quite the surprise ... I was lusting for sushi and it completely satisfied my craving.
I'll give 5 stars but one thing I didn't like:
Saturday at 12:15, before seating I was warned I would have to leave at 13:30, the manager warned the server. Not a good way to start ...
I was having lunch alone ... It seems a bit rude and I didn't really need the stress. My workday is quite enough. I didn't book a table because it was early and I was alone - I understand that restaurants were closed because of Covid but this restaurant didn't stop working, as take away and Uber Eats option was always available. So don't pass your stress to the Customers ... Besides, I left at 13:15, the warning was not needed.
That spoiled the experience a bit, but the server tried to make me at ease (she was clearly unconfortable with the warning), so 5 stars. It is deserved.

We used to love this place, but something happened since last time we were there. Sushi is a bit of a different quality and more oily compared to the other sushi place we were at of the same chain. Overall very friendly staff and still good fresh food.
