Recption and service are defenitelly the core benefits of this place. Everything else; ambience , living space, breakfast etc. is nothing short of basic

Very nice place. Clean, spacious. Two great remodeled bathrooms. Everything you need for your stay. Nice location. Close to center.

Great location! Excellent parking. Minimalist, hygge-inspired suite—actually very nicely appointed with kitchen. Accommodating staff. Swimming pool! The nontrivial cons were poor WiFi, obstreperous geese-like sea gulls screeching at 4am on and bathrooms that needed deep cleaning with lots of bleach. Oh, and the comforter that had blood stains on it. Check recent reviews to see if these were isolated problems or if they linger.

Went there in August. Top floor. No AC working. Boiling hot outside and extremely uncomfortably hot in the flat. One window not locking. Couldn’t sleep. Not a good memory. Wouldn’t recommend.

I was staying in Aparthotel Oporto for 5 months on a top floor as a long term accommodation. I had worst living experience of my life and I travel a lot… It is long so good luck with reading. I will start with mentioning that whole building is not isolated, you can feel how air passes through windows. It results to extreme cold in winter and I had to heat a lot, or wear winter coat inside apartment. It started with bad wifi (unstable, small signal or not working at all whole day). I was complaining about it for 3 months, they were ignoring me! As I had home-office it was extremely important to have internet (and they knew about it), so after one really long episode of internet not working, I had to go to reception and work there. I had been there for 3 hours. I must have been really annoying because after this the internet was repaired on the next day by giving me lan cable and fixing the lan cable socket in my apartment which took them only 1 hour! You would not believe it but I had smoke in a apartment multiple times. It originated from nearby construction; workers made a fire (inside building they were demolishing) probably to warm themselves. This is not exactly an Aparthotel problem, but they were ignoring my email and personal inquires about it. They did not do anything about it. I am sure it is illegal, and they should have called police. After breathing smoke in apartment whole day, I had ash in my nose. Next, wet walls. Again it was not a direct fault of Aparthotel but the communication and dealing with this problem was terrible. The wetness of a wall was so terrible, it was creating water dropplets on our window. The water was getting near the electrical socket, after that I went to reception and made a scene about it because they were not responding to my email about it for a week!! Only after this the handy man came to have a look at it and he did not even turn off the electrical fuses by himself I had to tell him to do that. Because of this big humidity in a room the mould was starting to create. It damaged my shoes and my health. I got a lymphatic cavities inflammation as a reaction to spores in air. They (aparthotel) did not care. I knew that they had free apartment they could relocate me to but again they showed complete ignorance of a problem. And this bedroom was no longer habitable, and I had to sleep in living room. The last drop in the ocean of problems was electricity bill for one month. Which was 190 €/month, they sent me it in three different version each with different ammount, the highest and last one was "right" as they told me!! I was not going to pay it because it was not real. They tried to persuade me that it is what I spent. After really big pressure to speak with owner (I threatened to call police and authorities) which took around 1 week, I had a talk with owner. He was sorry for what happened (which did not change my situation). He was recalculating the electricity bill infront of me and came to completely different (lower) amount, he was very surprised. Proposed a 30 € price reduction, 50 € for my damaged shoes and that was it. I was talking to him for one hour and literally asking the money from him because he was really reluctant about it. So I got back only what was mine but there was no compensation for a month of living in a mouldy cave which was my bedroom. TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE Worst part about this was the communication, I know that most of the problems were not their fault but the position they took, the complete ignoration of my problems and lack of any empathy was and is unacceptable. Disclaimer: This is my real experience, I have photos, email conversations and every possible evidence to prove what I wrote here is true. Still, it is my point of view, get your own idea of this Aparthotel. I just wanted to share my story with you.

I lived at this "hotel" long term for 5 months with my boyfriend and it was the most problematic accommodation which I have ever experienced. First problem was the internet, for 3 month I had problem with Wi-Fi it was unstable and not working at all sometimes. I had a home office, I was dependent on internet. So, try to tell your boss, that it is not your fault that you didn´t deliver your work on the time because of a bad internet connection. I spent my life in that reception, I was complaining all the time. But nothing really moved, after 3 months I just took my notebook to the reception and worked from there because I had to meet my deadlines. After 3 months and 3 hours of work in reception, they gave me the lan cable and made the lan cable socket to work. AFTER 3 MONTHS! The services there are unbelievable. Then I had a problem with smoke in my apartment from nearby construction work. (workers made fire inside of building) I was sneezing an ash after this incident for two days. The same procedure happened I was complaining on the reception and then they just ignored me. I thought that this is worst that could happen, but no. Then construction from nearby building damaged a roof of the hotel. So, it started with mold all over the wall in my bedroom. My shoes got wet and moldy and clothes. The room was wet, cold and unhealthy to live in. The procedure with complaining started all over again. I told them about the mold, wet walls and nothing happened. After emails with complains, repairman came and he told me that it is from nearby building. But the hotel didn´t do anything about it and I was living in a cave for a full price whole month. I even moved my staff from that room and slept on a couch. I also had a health problems all connected with the mold and wet environment. Last thing which happened was incorrectly counted energy bill. The receptionist sent me 3 times wrong calculation of bills, every new bill with higher price. I contacted the owner. I had to urge and push everything to be solved. It took many hours of my time. Also, it was stressful and bad for my health. I understand that not everything is fault of the hotel, but it is their responsibility and they didn´t do nothing about it! I was paying them full price for this. Worst services ever! Never ever again.

The flat was very good located - close to the bridge and Flixbus station. It was equipemented enough and also clean. The breakfast was big and I really liked big towels in the bathroom :) anyway the best was our receptionist Ana, she helped us a lot with all ours needs and was always nice. Thank you!
