Make sure to try it with their spicy sauce for an extra kick. There is always a line to to be seated but it moves quickly thanks to the efficient service of the staff. You may also have their chicken to go.
A	Adam B on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good roasted chicken. If you like spice chicken then you should order it house style. We enjoyed their peri peri sauce so much we bought some to take home. The portions are large enough to share. The cod fishcakes were very tasty. Our sever Pedro was fantastic!
S	S. Won on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Featured in many a food blog, tourist or food show this is a solid option for a relatively quick bite in the more touristy part of time. The chicken was salty, moist, and delicious. It's definitely something I can see growing up with and having cravings for. I could actually go for some as I write this review. In addition we had the Brazil rice and spinach. Both very filling. I wasn't such a fan of the rice, but only because I'm not the biggest fan of organ meat and it was chock full of chicken liver. So if you're a fan, I can see it being right up your alley. Service was friendly, and quick. But it did leave a somewhat bad taste in my mouth when they pointed out that there was no service included on the bill. Which they didn't do to locals. As is the custom in Europe, you can round up the bill or leave extra if you thought that the service was phenomenal. Not a normal practice.

This place is frequented by local people and is quite busy all the time. Even if you have to wait, its worth it. Totally recommended.

Even the salad was nice & fresh next to a hearty perfect chicken. It may not have a perfect ambiance. But you notice people are here to enjoying the same speciality of the chicken. And the lack of b busy & bustly street next to the restaurant makes it even more easier to enjoy the food. You can find enough life around the corner when you're done. Ask the right waiter about the food proces and they will give an enthusiastic story about where the chicken is from, how you should prepare chicken and the recipe!!!!

The staff are also very nice and accommodating. We visited twice on a weekend trip and will most definitely return in.
