★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The visit of the church is free, and it's great.
Abut the tower, it's maybe the best tower of the city, but if you don't look for a good moment to make the queue to get the ticket, you'll waste a lot of time.
My advice: do not wait if the queue exits the building.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The journey to the top tests your limits, I ended up with sore thighs and legs after visiting the tower because the stairs are very steep. However the view at the top is great! Price to get in 3 euros with student discount

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An inexpensive self-guided tour of the Clérigos should definitely be on your to-do list in Porto. The views are stunning from the top and the walk up is like exploring a church and a castle!
There are a number of steps which may be challenging for some, and a lift to take you about a third of the way up.
Entry queues can take a long time although you can buy a ticket for a later time that better suits.
Be aware, there are open windows, arrow slots and gaps between balusters that are large enough for small and large children/adults to get through and you may also have to go backwards to allow people to pass.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The tower is one of the best places to get a view of the beautiful city of Porto. The only drawback is, I was forced to go through the museum to climb the stairs, which I wasn’t really amused with.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a view!
It was €6/person for admission, which seamed a fair price to pay to tour the church, let alone go up in the tower.
Beautiful inside with an incredible story to go along with it — plenty to learn and see before even ascending the tower.
That said, the highlight was definitely the view from the top — not sure how many steps total, but well worth the effort as the views spectacular!
Would definitely recommend to anyone bouncing around Porto for the day with an hour or so to spend soaking in some local history!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Would definitely recommend for good views of the city. There are a good few steps and they are quite narrow and are used for people going up and down. There also is not a lot of space to move around at the top. None of this stuff bothered me but might for some people. 6 euro for a ticket including some displays and to see the church as well.
